Common misconception I see thrown around frequently— Yes, the Cartomancer strat for multiclassing is too powerful, janky, goes against 5e's entire design philosophy for multiclassing and the feat "feels" a lot more fair on single classes... but it's 100% intended and its interpretation is RAI.
